Manually progressing opportunities
The workflow functionality automates the progression of opportunities to follow predefined business processes.
If your system doesn't have Opportunity Workflow enabled, you will notice that the Opportunity workflow bullets on the right-hand side of the Summary page are replaced by a Progress button. This button allows you to manually change details of the opportunity via the Progress Opportunity page. Changes are still recorded in the Tracking tab.
