Deleting a communication

User Requirement: Your System Administrator must give you rights

You can change a communication status to Complete or Canceled. All communications, even those completed in the past, form an important part of the customer history.

  1. Find and open the communication you want to delete.
  2. From the Details page, click Delete. If the communication has attachments, for example an email or a letter, then they arealso be deleted, and no longer available in the Documents tab of the associated entity (Person, Company, Opportunity, etc.) Note: This does not apply to mass mail communications deleted in the context of a recipient.
  3. Click Confirm Delete.
